The pouch you’ve just received or are thinking about purchasing is packed full of powerful and delicious herbs to help detoxify and purify the body, mind, and soul; and ultimately, make you feel and look better from the inside out! We recommend you take TEAMETINY (as directed on package) twice a day; once in the morning- to get your started, energized, and in the mood for the day ahead; and, once at night – to give your body a little boost while it’s already hard at work repairing and detoxify you from the day you just had. During your 14 or 28 day TEAMETINY Teatox it is recommended that you try to eat as healthy as possible. Below is an eating plan structure that you can follow.
Breakfast – 300 Calories
Morning Snack – 150 Calories
Lunch – 300 Calories
Mid-day Snack – 150 Calories
Dinner – 300 Calories
We understand that 1200 calories may be too much of a change from your usual diet, so, listen to your body and what it’s telling you! If you need more – eat more, but, try to remember to eat healthy snacks and alternatives! Buy organic whenever possible! Below is the “Dirty Dozen” (high in pesticides) and the “Clean Fifteen” (low in pesticides):
Dirty Dozen (in order of highest contamination)
Apples, Celery, Sweet bell peppers, Peaches, Strawberries, Nectarines, Grapes, Spinach, Lettuce, Cucumbers, Blueberries, and Potatoes.
Clean Fifteen (in order of least contamination)
Onions, Sweet Corn, Pineapples, Avocado, Cabbage, Sweet peas, Asparagus, Mangoes, Eggplant, Kiwi, Cantaloupe, Sweet potatoes, Grapefruit, Watermelon, and Mushrooms.
Water – Try to always drink at least 2 liters a day. TIP - The second you wake up in the morning, try to drink 1 liter of warm water (with lemon). This will help flush out your system from the day before!
Coconut Water (100% Natural) – Coconut water is a great way to stay hydrated since it’s bursting with electrolytes!
Coffee – Is okay in moderation, try to only consume 1-2 cups a day.
Tea – Green tea is great for an extra metabolism booster!
“Green” Smoothies – If you’re in a rush – try blending up a bunch of dark leafy greens with some of your favorite fruits, your body will thank you.
Kale, Watercress, Spinach, Dandelion, Radicchio, Collards, Mustards, Chards, Bok Choy, Squash, Sweet Potato, Squash, Cabbage, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Romaine, Arugula, Radish, Okra, Cauliflower, Green Peppers, Red Peppers, Yellow Peppers, Turnips, Leeks, Fennel, Beets, Sprouts, Cucumber, Onion etc.
Note: Consume starchy vegetables in moderation. (Potatoes, Yams, Squash, Lima beans, Corn and Peas) as they contain a much higher levels of sugars and carbohydrates.
Low Carbohydrate Levels: Raspberries, Blackberries, Cranberries, Strawberries, Blueberries, Cherries, Goji Berries, Acai Berries, Bilberries, etc.
Medium Carbohydrate Levels: Watermelon, peach, nectarine, cantaloupe, apple, and papaya.
High Carbohydrate Levels: Banana, plum, pear, kiwifruit, pineapple, mango, grape, fig, etc.
Note: Try to eat more fruits with lower carbohydrate levels and only eat fruits with higher levels of carbohydrates and dried fruits in moderation and before noon.
Nuts and Seeds
Almonds, Cashews, Flaxseed, Peanuts, Pumpkin Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Walnuts, etc.
Note: Avoid Nuts and Seeds that are coated in sugar or salt. Avoid Nuts or Seeds that have been roasted. Eat Nuts and Seeds in moderation as they are extremely calorie dense.
Grains and Legumes
Sprouts, Whole Oats, Wild Rice, Quinoa, Barley, Rye, Buckwheat, Freekeh, Millet, Spelt, Lentils, Chickpeas, Kidney Beans, Black Beans, etc.
Note: Eat grains and Legumes in moderation. Try to avoid breads and pastas during your detox. Once you have finished your detox – reintroduce gluten slowly back into your diet. If you notice any digestive problems you may have gluten intolerance and should speak to your doctor.
Chicken, Turkey, Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp, Bison, White Fish (Cod, Sole, Basa), Lobster, Crab, Mussels, Clams, Scallops.
Note: Consume animal proteins in moderation (3oz per serving). Stay away from red meats and skin. Do not consume fried and/or battered animal protein.
We also know that starting out, eating healthy can get boring rather quickly, and that’s also while a lot of people tend to give up so early into their “diets”. We don’t want that to happen to you – try looking up healthy recipes! Try taking something you usually love, like a pizza, and use only vegetables for toppings; or a pasta, but instead of noodles, try zucchini strips. Small changes can make all the difference! Remember, diets (especially extreme ones) are not sustainable. You want to enjoy what you eat, so you can continue to do it – as a new lifestyle.

Exercising can be hard to fit into a busy schedule, but, it’s tremendously important to making sure all our organs are working properly to keep us at our best. Just 30 minutes a day of cardiovascular exercises with a little weight training can make a huge impact on your mood and overall well-being. Start slow, to not overwhelm the body, and work your way up to a more vigorous exercise regimen. It can be challenging at first – listen to your body – if you keep with it you’ll most likely start to enjoy it! Remember it only takes 21 days to make or break a habit!
